Medical Laboratory Technologists and technicians are involved in diagnosis of medical conditions by performing laboratory investigations on various specimens. The tests and procedures that Medical Laboratory Technologists perform provide critical information enabling clinicians to diagnose, treat and monitor a patient's condition. OMC offers a 3 year Diploma and 2 year Certificate course. We have also been handpicked by the KMLTTB to offer upgrading courses in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Requirements:
KMLTTB upgrading programme – A certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution
Diploma - Mean Grade C in KCSE with cluster subjects of C in English, Chemistry or Physical Science, Biology or Biological Sciences and Physics or Mathematics.
Certificate: Mean Grade C – in KCSE with cluster subjects of C- in Biology or Biological Sciences, C- in Chemistry or Physical Sciences, C- in English or Kiswahili and a C- in Mathematics or Physics
